Sweet corn

Super sweet flavours

Sweet corn - Product photo

It is a vegetable that resembles regular corn on the cob, but in reality sweet corn is a fairly exclusive product. The name already gives away the taste: as soon as the elongated cobs are picked, they start to convert their starch into sugars. An important plus is that the EAT ME variety adds a little extra in terms of sweetness. It is a 'super sweet' variety that is nice and crunchy to boot. The cobs can be recognised by their deep yellow colour and white husks.

Recipes & preparation tips

Starter, main course or dessert: sweet corn is one of those vegetables that a creative chef can use any which way in the kitchen. As a starter, for example, in a sweet corn salad with feta, grilled as a vegetable skewer or combined with Mexican butter, as featured on the EAT ME website. Nature's Pride supplies the vegetable crops rinsed and without husks. They can be popped in the microwave and are ready to eat after steaming for 5 minutes.
